General Purpose of the Position
The Social Worker is responsible for organizing and coordinating all psycho-social support activities at Frans Van der Lugt Centre. S/he is the Focal Point in referrals and in all Outreach activities. S/he will be assisting vulnerable people in understanding, dealing with and coping with their situations. S/he reports to and coordinates with the Project Director and the Social Worker supervisor.
ALEF is looking for an analyst consultant to conduct a tactical advocacy mapping at the beginning of the project. This non-published report will identify the positioning of the various stakeholders relevant to the issue of the use of force in Lebanon and the triggers needed to gather their support or mitigate their opposition. The analyst consultant hired will also be documenting human rights violations committed through the use of force since 2019.
The Monitoring and Evaluation M&E Senior Officer will be responsible for designing and implementing MEL Plans, M&E frameworks, indicators and tools, in line with donor reporting requirements, and internal M&E system. The M&E Senior Officer will work along other staff members to support the implementation of RMF Programs and Projects.
The Porticus-funded “Towards a Social and Emotional Learning Policy for Children in Lebanon” aims to devise a national roadmap toward establishing solid foundations from which to facilitate the development of a comprehensive SEL policy for Lebanon; policies in SEL will ensure a systematic integration and institutionalization of an SEL culture into both formal and non-formal educational system.
