Mercy Corps has developed a Crisis Analytics function to support our programming in the most complex contexts, including Syria, Libya, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and others. The Lebanon Crisis Analytics Team, which was launched in Lebanon for the first time in August 2021, seeks to support Mercy Corps’ in-country programming as well as the wider humanitarian and crisis response in Lebanon, currently experiencing a highly volatile and rapidly developing series of concurrent crises. It does this through the provision of quality, timely and relevant analytical products.

DRC has been responding to various humanitarian crises in Lebanon since 2004, working with Palestinian, Iraqi and Syrian refugees. DRC received registration from the Ministry of Interior in 2011, and since then has focused primarily on responding to the Syrian refugee crisis in Lebanon and the resulting impact on Lebanese host community. DRC Lebanon’s focus is to ensure that we are able to respond to critical emerging humanitarian needs whilst improve the living conditions of displacement-affected populations and contribute to the achievement of durable solutions.

The PMEAL Advisor will lead in providing technical support/ expertise and tools to Oxfam Lebanon’s programmes, ensuring strong programme and project design and effective, coordinated MEAL systems to drive programme quality and implementation.

The IM Officer will join our Shared Service Centre to provide IM services such as the creation of data collection tools, reports and dashboards. The role will also customize, deploy and support applications providing valuable data tools to our country programmes. Finally, the hire will provide trainings on new applications and data literacy practices.

With funding from UN Women and the Government of Japan, ACTED will implement activities tackling period poverty/menstrual hygiene issues. As a part of this, ACTED plans to support a community-based entity to set up a manufacturing facility for the local production of menstrual hygiene products in Bourj Hammoud, Saida and Tripoli. The project will provide support for equipment and raw materials, as well as staffing support to kick start operations and sales. In addition, the project will provide trainings to vulnerable populations working on production & sales.

The Partnership Manager will oversee the management, coordination and risk management of OiL’s partnership portfolio. The Partnership Manager will work closely with all OiL departments to ensure a unified approach is taken to partnership management and to increase efficiency as well as effectiveness of OiL’s approach to management.

Oxfam in Lebanon is increasingly working at local, national and international levels to “ensure that women and men are protected and empowered to enjoy their basic rights and access services enabling them to live in dignity within a more equitable society.” To achieve this vision, Oxfam in Lebanon implements activities under two main programmatic pillars, which are the Governance and Economic Justice pillar and the Humanitarian Pillar.

The Governance and projects management coordinator (heading the governance and projects management unit) works on developing and mainstreaming mental health policies at 1) Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) Task Force, 2) inter-sectorial and 3) inter-ministerial levels through the development of strategies and plans, the coordination of the MHPSS Task Force, the development of inter-sectorial collaborations including the formalization of inter-ministerial collaboration and other activities.
In addition to that, the coordinator has a role in overseeing non-research projects.

ACTED is launching a national level three-year EU-MADAD funded program with multiple NGO partners (WW-GVC, Solidarites International, LebRelief, ACF and others) and government stakeholders (Ministries, four Regional Water Establishments) to improve water service delivery and governance in Lebanon. Within this program, partners will support all four Water Establishments to improve service delivery through the provision of capacity building, staff, equipment, supplies and works under the Establishment-Led Service Improvement and Cost Recovery (ELSICR) Modality.
