The responsibilities of the Accountant are the management of day-to-day financial matters and operational services, including maintaining accurate financial records and reports for SAWA’s programs as per SAWA’s standard procedures and systems, for timely delivery of key support activities and services.

The project implemented by Fair Trade Lebanon and People in Need - Slovakia brings the water to key locations by the installation of an irrigation network which enables the cultivation of unused lands and build the capacity of the vulnerable local population and refugees.

The Finance and Accounting Manager is responsible for managing accounting operations, enforcing proper accounting methods and principles, providing financial statements and reports to management, interpreting financial information, maintaining the financial health of the organization, providing recommendations on future financial plans, and ensuring the implementation of the Financial Policies and Procedures.

The senior advisor will coordinate the efforts to address the vulnerabilities of children and women in the governorate. The senior advisor will keep the governor updated about children and women in the governorate and on available data generated by Unicef and other agencies and partners. The Senior Advisor will report to the governor and will be provided with the necessary technical support from the UNICEF field office covering the Governorate.
