Project Manager (Social Cohesion)

A small team of Certified Public Accountant to look into the approximately 100 remaining school cases and make a recommendation to the Minister for decision. This recommendations will be based upon a thorough analysis of school budgets and will follow a robust methodology agreed with the Director of Private Education in the initial consultation phase. The consultant team will work with the Director of Private Education and deliverable will be overseen by the OPM TA Team Leader.

The Education Advisor is responsible for providing technical support for the planning and implementation of RI’s education programs responding to the Syrian crisis in Lebanon. This includes education programming focusing on non-formal education, remedial education, online learning, and complementary education services. In addition, s/he works closely with the Program Director, Program Manager, and other colleagues, as appropriate.

Marine litter is a complex and multi-dimensional problem challenging the marine and coastal environment of the Mediterranean since the 1970s. The sources of marine litter can be categorized as either land-based or sea-based, depending on how litter reaches the water.
Lebanon generates around 365,003 kg of plastic wastes per day in year 2010, 123,700 kg of which are inadequately managed and 7,300 kg are littered in the sea on daily basis (UNEP/MAP, 2015).

The CFE Program Coordinator is responsible for managing the daily implementation of activities of RI’s CPE program in West and Central Bekaa. This will include managing field teams for program implementation, and ensuring program success through meeting of objectives and indicators within the designated areas of intervention.

The Program Manager will provide overall leadership to Mercy Corps activities under the LINKED program while coordinating closely with other consortium partners. S/he will ensure the program is implemented on scope, on time and within budget and will ensure full compliance with national regulations as well as the consortium’s and donors’ requirements. The Program Manager must be a team player, ideally with consortium experience, who has the technical and functional skills to be a leader.

The elevation of Bsharri village is chaotic where churches are the main landmarks and other Lebanese heritage houses. In addition to those elements many newly unpainted and unfinished houses exist all along the façade.
The project untitled “Rehabilitation of Bsharri’s Facades” will be through painting, adding street arts and greenery. Works will be inside some main alleys in the “Souk” and the treatment of some facades and old ornamental doors and windows is in line with the Bsharri 2022 Strategy.
The project will be implemented through Community engagement and participatory approach.
