Lebanon Eco Movement

Lebanon Eco Movement (LEM) is a large network of environmental organizations and associations joining around sixty NGOs from all Lebanon having a wide range of expertise in achieving positive change in the environmental field.
Our mission is to preserve the Lebanese natural and cultural heritage through advocating local communities to work more on preserving the natural resources and comply with all the international conventions and governmental agreements signed till date.
 Our main objectives are to:
-       Contribute in preserving the Lebanese natural and cultural heritage.-       Coordinate with different NGOs working on environmental issues.-       Strengthen the capacities of the member organizations.-       Organize advocacy campaigns toward Lebanese authorities for the preservation of Lebanese environment.-       Participate in planning national policies concerning Lebanese environmental issues.-       Disseminate cultural and environmental awareness in the context of sustainable development.
