During the last quarter of 2019, MEHE prepared an “Information Management Strategy” along with the “Information Management Implementation Plan”. The overall objective is for MEHE to be able use evidence-based and more effective decisions in policy formulation, planning, monitoring, and optimization of resources. Since 2010, MEHE has implemented a School Information Management System (SIMS). The current SIMS platform collects and analyses data for improved management oversight and enhanced internal efficiency. SIMS is still in the process of operationalization.

Job

The consultant will work in close collaboration with OPMTA PFM expert and in direct contact with the ICT department at MEHE to develop a module for the new budget model and integrate it with SIMS. He/she has to work in full technical coordination with the ICT department at MEHE and under the guidance of the Public Finance Expert of OPM for any functional aspect of the task.
The consultant will report to OPM TL.

The Education Partnership Implementation Coordinator (EPIC) undertakes assigned activities, set out plans which are primarily designed to improve the scope and quality of education programs and services available to MEHE. This position is critical to the successful implementation of different education initiatives. It also aims to maintain effective communication with different education donors and stakeholders and support MEHE’s strategy to improve the teaching and learning outcomes.
