NCLW is implementing the “P-VAWG Preventing Violence against Women and Girls in Lebanon” project in partnership with GIZ.
The project entails 2 components:
• The institutionalization of a Gender Equality Barometer developed by NCLW, with specific indicators on GBV and SGBV.
• Strengthening NCLW’s coordinative role as to GBV in Lebanon specifically as the national coordinator for the implementation of the NAP 1325 and its 3rd Strategic Priority “Prevention of and Protection of Women and Girls from Gender-Based Violence”.

Main goal of the position
The Finance Officer (FO) supports the programme teams in delivering programme results.
The FO designs and prepares budgets and financial aspects of project plans and reports; administers the donor and partner contracts; keeps track of expenses and payments, and manages the related cash flow and reporting schedules. The FO assesses budgets, financial statements and financial reports of Communities of Action (CoAs), and of joint or individual projects of local organizations.

Roumieh prison is the largest prison with around 3,500 inmates (around 60% of total inmates). A medical centre is established in Roumieh, with nurses and general physicians available 24/7. Prisons, particularly Roumieh, suffer shortage of medical staff. This situation hinders equitable access to timely health (and mental health) care to all inmates.

The intern will provide general support to the Output Team at Greenpeace Middle East and North Africa. This will allow the intern to develop new skill sets and to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of Greenpeace MENA multimedia work.

FHI 360 seeks qualified national candidates only to serve as the Procurement and Vetting Associate for an anticipated five-year USAID civil society strengthening program in Lebanon. The project will support a broad swath of civil society actors, building on prior civil society assistance accomplishments. The Procurement & Vetting Associate will be responsible for managing vetting procedures in line with USAID and FHI 360 requirements and coordinate procurement of goods and services required to carry out project activities.

FHI 360 seeks qualified national candidates only to serve as the Finance Manager for an anticipated five-year USAID civil society strengthening program in Lebanon. The project will support a broad swath of civil society actors, building on prior civil society assistance accomplishments. The Finance Manager will report to the Deputy Chief of Party and will be responsible for financial management and overseeing the projects’ legal, compliance, and audit activities. She/he will supervise an Accountant and ensure their compliant and efficient support to the project’s activities.
