The René Moawad Foundation (RMF) is seeking to recruit a “Awareness Raising Trainer on GBV” for “Upscaling Shelter, Food Security, Protection, and GBV services to extremely vulnerable individuals in North-Lebanon and Akkar” Project supported by OCHA Lebanon through Lebanon Humanitarian Fund (LHF).

 

 

Major Responsibilities: 

  • Provide comprehensive awareness raising sessions on GBV, including its forms, causes, and impacts;
  • Equip participants with knowledge and skills to identify, prevent, and respond to GBV; and,
  • Foster a supportive environment for discussing and addressing GBV in the targeted communities.

     

Professional Standards:

All RMF staff are required to adhere to the RMF policies and practices with respect to child protection minimum standards, code of conduct, health and safety, equal opportunities and other relevant policies and procedures.

Job Requirements:

  • Proven expertise and experience in GBV prevention and response;
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering awareness raising sessions on sensitive topics;
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills;
  • Ability to work with diverse groups and handle sensitive discussions with empathy and professionalism; and,
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding participant information and any sensitive topics discussed during the sessions.

 

Period of Employment: 

20 sessions ranging between 1 September 2024 – 31 July 2025

Experience Requirements: At least 2 years of relevant experience.

Education DegreeBachelor Degree in Social Sciences or any other relevant field.
