The Arab Reform Initiative, The Alternative Policy Solutions at the American University
in Cairo, and the Moroccan Institute for Policy Analysis are pleased to announce an
upcoming conference titled "Civil Society Organizations and just Transition in the
MENA: Challenges and Opportunities", scheduled to take place on May 29 and 30,
2023, at the Gefinor Rotana Hotel in Beirut, Lebanon.

The conference will explore the concept of Just Transition, a principle that underscores
the necessity of integrating intersectional socio-economic aspects into sustainable
development and green transition plans.
