Trainer for Social and Behavioral Change Activities with Children

The René Moawad Foundation (RMF) is seeking to recruit a “Trainer for Social and Behavioral Change Activities with Children” for “Upscaling Shelter, Food Security, Protection, and GBV services to extremely vulnerable individuals in North-Lebanon and Akkar” Project supported by OCHA Lebanon through Lebanon Humanitarian Fund (LHF).

 

Major Responsibilities: 

  • Delivery of a proper action plan in line with the number of allocated sessions to deliver SBC activities for children;
  • After implementing the sessions, identify an initiative with the participation of the children that will be aiming raising awareness by the participants themselves about critical social issues;
  • Utilize materials, resources, and technology to enhance the participants’ participation experience, making it interactive and relevant to the content of the sessions;
  • Collaborate with RMF staff, to enhance the overall experience, share best practices; and,
  • At the end of the implementation of the SBC activities, including the SBC initiatives, the trainer should deliver a detailed report on each activity.

 

Professional Standards:

All RMF staff are required to adhere to the RMF policies and practices with respect to child protection minimum standards, code of conduct, health and safety, equal opportunities and other relevant policies and procedures.

 

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology or a related field;
  • At least 2 years’ experience in the same field;
  • Strong subject knowledge in child protection, protection and GB;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; and,
  • Dedication to fostering a positive and motivating environment.

Period of Employment: 

70 sessions ranging between 1 September 2024 – 31 July 2025

Experience Requirements: At least 2 years of relevant experience.

Education DegreeBachelor Degree social work, or any related field.
