The Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation has a broad agenda within the areas of women’s rights and peace, but our main focus lies on six thematic areas: create safe meeting places, empower women’s rights defenders, increase women’s power, more women in peace processes, power over one’s own body and security for all. They form the core of our field and advocacy work.

Kvinna till Kvinna is a non-profit organisation that provides support to women rights organisations and women human rights defenders in conflict-affected areas to promote gender equality and women’s participation in all levels of decision making. Kvinna till Kvinna has established operations in the MENA region since 2001 with a regional office in Amman, Jordan, and country offices in Palestine, Lebanon, and Iraq. Kvinna till Kvinna currently supports some 50 women’s rights organizations in eight countries in the region with organizational, thematical and financial assistance.

Programme Officer

Job

About the job
As Programme Officer you are responsible for project cycle management of our partner organisations and any related activities, such as monitoring and evaluation initiatives and progress reporting. You will ensure that all activities in the country programme are carried out in accordance with working methods, strategies, policies and expected results of Kvinna till Kvinna, and in accordance with the partnership agreements.

You will also play a key part in supporting other program staff in program development and implementation of country program activities.
