We are looking for an engineer (civil, environmental or electromechanical) of 5+ years of experience with clear experience in design and/or supervision of RBF treatment plants (reed bed filters treatment plants, also known as "filtres plantés de roseaux") for an upcoming water and wastewater project.

The purpose of the position is to oversee the OFDA component of providing hygiene messaging in the different areas in Beirut and Mount Lebanon within World Vision’s Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) program, as well as distributing hand sanitizer to shops, and soap bars and fabric masks to beneficiaries with the support of a team of casual workers.

Technical aspects such as quality of rehabilitation works are not within the scope of this evaluation.
The objective of the evaluation is to obtain a systematic and objective assessment of the Cash for Activities as well the set-up and sustainability of the socio-economic projects, since both are relatively new concepts to Caritas Lebanon.
The main purpose of the evaluation is learning. It is therefore expected that the evaluation report provides clear recommendations on the design and implementation of the activities.
