The MSE Program Development Specialist contributes to completion of current relief/recovery program and the further programmatic development of the Enterprising Livelihood Urban programming of the consortium with a focus on MSEs and is responsible for an effective implementation of this programmatic component in the next 3-5 years.

In light of increased attention that ChemSex is becoming a more popular and frequent practice in this region, MCoalition under the Robert Carr fund (RCF) is working on conducting a study to produce a report on the situation of chemsexers in 3 countries in the MENA.

MCoalition under the SHAG Consortium fund is working on conducting research to act as a baseline report on STIs affecting the lives of KPs in 3 countries in MENA. The baseline will explore various variables including behavior, diagnosis, shame/ fear, stigma and discrimination, PrEP use, seropositivity, knowledge and access to information, treatment, needs, access to services, and experiences.

Under the overall supervision of the UNFPA Humanitarian Coordinator and in close coordination with the GBV Section and Finance/Admin Unit, the incumbent supports the planning, implementation, coordination, monitoring and evaluation of the UNFPA pilot Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA) programme intervention. The incumbent ensures that cash and vouchers are implemented according to standards and best practices.

With the support of the SGBV Task Force Coordinator and the National GBVIMS Steering Committee, the incumbent will facilitate the implementation of the GBVIMS in Lebanon, providing technical support to the organizations and agencies using the GBVIMS for data collection through their service provision to GBV survivors in order to improve and expand the use of the GBVIMS. The incumbent will also lead national efforts to roll-out the GBVIMS among potential additional GBVIMS users in coordination with the GBVIMS Steering Committee.
