Akkar Network for Development (AND) has been working in Akkar for the last 10 years with women, youth and local authorities to promote the well-being of the community. In addition to other interventions in the area, AND is currently working on several protection, education and governance initiatives aiming to improve the daily lives of women and children along with women and youth empowerment and inclusion.

Siren is preparing to launch an exciting new project that aims to strengthen societal resilience to harmful media content by contributing to a robust media ecosystem across the MENA region. The project stands at the intersection of news media, technology, and peacebuilding, equipping a range of media actors with the capabilities and innovative digital tools they need to better counter disinformation and raise awareness about its harmful effects amongst local communities and relevant policy-makers. The project, led by Siren, involves a range of stakeholders from across the MENA region.

Under the direct supervision of the MHPSS Supervisor , the Psychiatrist is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing and treating patients who is suffering from Mental Health disorders. He/she will work mainly in RI’s supported PHC(s). He/she will also be responsible for prescribing medication and/or suggesting therapy according to the patient’s needs. He/she will supervise the work of the nurses and medical doctors and make sure they are giving the adequate diagnosis and medication to the patients.

MSF has been working continuously in Lebanon since 2008. Today our operational teams work all over the country delivering quality, free of charge medical care to those who need it.

War Child is a specialized child rights agency with over 23 years of experience in these sectors and specific expertise on integrated protection and education interventions.

At least three years of experience as Project Coordinator under projects funded by UN agencies, PRM, the European Union or other international donors. Experience in the field of migration is also a prerequisite.

PURPOSE OF POSITION

The purpose of the position is to coordinate the CP UNICEF and C4D projects and ensure that interventions are implemented based on standards and donor compliance
