Assist Child Protection Technical Programme implementation in the communities

We would be needing 6 CAs for Baalbeck Hermel, and 8 in Bekaa, as per the attached table.

Conduct initial assessments through psycho-diagnostic interviews with caregivers, children and adolescents, and using rating scales and standardized tools when needed, to provide diagnosis, case formulation, and treatment plan

The speech-language pathologist (SLP) will be working on preventing, assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children.
They will be providing aural rehabilitation for individuals who are deaf or hard to hear.

- Plans and administers medically prescribed physical therapy treatment for targeted children.

- Reviews physicians’ referrals, prescriptions, and medical records of targeted children.

- Tests and measures children’s strength, motor development, sensory perception, functional capacity, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency; he/she records findings to develop or revise treatment programs.

Other responsibilities include drafting policy briefs and other reports. JOB PURPOSE

The purpose of the position is to contribute to the project’s outcomes through using professional social skills and seeking the optimal child protection services to the children benefiting from the project.

This position is also responsible to supervise casual workers who will be giving sessions to ECE children, CBPSS children and caregivers.
