The WASH Associate works under the overall supervision of a more senior WASH colleague, Technical Coordinator, Programme Officer or the Head of Office. S/he provides assistance in the development, guidance and oversight of the implementation of WASH strategies for refugee settlements. The incumbent will support WASH related activities in the refugee settlements working closely with the multi-functional teams including colleagues from protection, health, settlement planning, field and others.

The overall objective of the assignment is to provide both overall analysis and stakeholder mapping that will support the establishment of the LGBTIQ+ Task-Force and inform its strategic planning for 2022, and forthcoming.

PURPOSE OF POSITION

The purpose of this role is to ensure cash, commodity food and livelihood program compliance with WV global standards, donor regulations, sector best practices and audit recommendations. The job holder will be responsible for establishing control mechanisms within the cash and Livelihood portfolio to ensure strict adherence to regulations.
