Qualifications:

We are seeking a committed team-player who is resourceful and passionate about creating alternative solutions for Lebanon’s immense challenges. As this is both an internal and external facing role, we are seeking a blend of excellent people skills and administrative know-how. Other valuable skills include:

  • Previous experience in training teams and online teaching/workshop design and presentation.
  • Background in data management. 
  • Knowledge of civil society and/or entrepreneurship and innovation sectors in Lebanon.
  • High proficiency in Excel and/or Airtable.
  • Computer savvy and able to teach yourself new tools and software quickly.
  • Fluency in Arabic, English and French required.

Project Role, Schedule & Compensation:

In this role, you will be responsible to help soft-launch Regenerate Hub and scale data partnerships and outreach to key stakeholders within the following scope of work:

  • Develop online training modules for onboarding users to Regenerate Hub in English, Arabic and French and present trainings accordingly on-line.
  • In consultation with Recycle Lebanon staff, manage the hiring process of 6 sector consultants specialising in the fields of 1) basic human needs, 2) earth and agriculture, 3) sustainable industry, 4) waste management, 5) energy, and 6) water access and management.
  • Manage each sector consultant in their work to coordinate new data partnerships and data acquisitions through personal outreach, workshops, and trainings. Your role will be to ensure that each sector expert is meeting their targets, support research on potential stakeholders, help schedule online or in-person meetings and workshops, attend these events, and take notes/follow up on next steps to populate the platform partnerships and data sets.
  • Create best practices and manage the transfer of data from new partners onto the site.
  • Create best practices for managing platform feedback, Q&A’s and internal data approval processes. This will include creating a set of guidelines for how data contributions are vetted and verified on the administrative portal of the platform. 

This role is contract-based from November 2021 – March 2022.

Compensation is in fresh currency, totaling 3,000 USD, paid in cash at completion of contract.
