Non-FPSS (Non-Focused Psychosocial Support) Trainer in a GBV sector:

Responsibilities:

o Conduct training sessions on Non-FPSS methodologies for GBV survivors, ensuring that sessions are interactive, engaging, and informative.

o Implement training curricula that address the specific needs of GBV survivors, focusing on empowerment, resilience, and recovery.

o Update training materials, manuals, and resources tailored to the needs of GBV survivors.

o Incorporate best practices in the curriculum to ensure the highest quality of training.

o Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, surveys, and other evaluation tools.

o Provide continuous support and guidance to participants during training sessions.

o Work closely with other team members, including case workers, psychologists, and project coordinators, to ensure a holistic approach to survivor support.

o Participate in regular team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and improvements in the training program.

o Maintain accurate records of training sessions, participant attendance, and feedback.

o Prepare and submit regular reports on training activities, outcomes, and recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

o A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, or a related field. Additional certification or training in GBV is preferred.

o At least 2-3 years of experience in facilitating training sessions, preferably in a GBV or humanitarian context.

o Proven experience in implementing training programs for vulnerable populations.

o Strong knowledge of GBV, its impact on survivors, and effective support strategies.

o Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate participants.

o Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

o Ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with GBV survivors and other stakeholders.

o Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

o Empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental attitude towards survivors of GBV.

o Willingness to travel to different project locations if required.

o Dedication to maintaining the confidentiality and dignity of all participants.
