1. Overview

Fair Trade Lebanon is looking for a training provider agency to deliver tailored trainings of 2 to 4 hours, and customized services to boost the performance of 20 SMEs and 5 cooperatives in North Lebanon. 

The project aims to enhance their management, planning, and market access capabilities, fostering economic growth in the region.

The applicants are required to address all the topics. 

     2- Training Topics

  • Business Development Services.
  • Financial Management
  • Marketing and Sales
  • Product Development and Innovation
  • Food packaging
  • Access to Finance
  • Operations and Supply Chain Management
  • Inclusion of People with Special Needs
  • Legal and Compliance
  • Leadership and Team Development

     3- Outcomes

The following outcomes are what the activity aims to achieve within the above-mentioned topics for the required training sessions between January 2024 and March 2024. 

  • 10 sessions, 5 topics (2 groups of 20 participants each per topic) for MSME.
  • 3 sessions (1 group of 10 participants per session) for coop.
  • 4 sessions, 2 topics (2 groups of 25 participants each per topic) for MSME and coop.

The training topics will be confirmed following the needs assessment.

Some specific topics will be addressed only for SMEs, others only for Coops, and two sessions in common for both.

Training sessions will be given between North Lebanon and Akkar depending on the locations of selected beneficiaries

 4- Deliverables

  • Conduct a total of 17 training sessions on the listed topics above.
  • Assess beneficiary performance and topic understanding.
  • Submit timely pre and post training reports for each training given.
  • Submit training and activity report

    5- Qualifications

  • University degree in business, economics, marketing, or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a trainer.
  • Proven knowledge of Fair-Trade principles.
  • Proven presentation skills.
  • Drives results.

       6- Skills

  • Adheres to FTL values.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Engaged in developing self and others.
  • High degree of self-motivation.
  • Excellent leadership, team building, and management skills.
  • Good time management.
  • Organized and able to create multiple timelines and schedules.
  • Good knowledge of Arabic and English.

   7- Payment terms

Payment will be made within 15 business days of invoice receipt.
