We are currently in search of a Mentors Manager who will be conducting mentorship-related program activities that we aim to relaunch soon to further our efforts to support business development and job creation in Lebanon, the MENA region, and Africa.
The mentors’ manager will be responsible for developing targeted outreach and engagement campaigns to activate and grow our database of mentors, developing a robust set of reusable onboarding and training modules, and launching direct mentorship programs matching enterprises in our programs to mentors.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Research relevant programs and approaches, and provide a list of references and examples
- Develop a list of best practices and strategies for each set of program activities
- Outline and develop the end-to-end mentors’ process: from outreach/sourcing and selection to matching with enterprises and post-program feedback and engagement activities.
- Ideate activity-based onboarding and training content and approaches that could be appropriate for mentors and enterprise accelerator programs including strategies to nurture the mentors’ community
- Develop a list of potential contacts, mentors, experts, and partners
- Facilitate a mentor introductory info session and a mentor onboarding session
Requirements
- Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in managing mentors and programs in the Entrepreneurial ecosystem.
- Experience in designing, implementing, and operating projects from project initiation to closeout stages.
- Excellent interpersonal skills as well as demonstrated ability to interact with and motivate people.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Effective oral and written communications
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively in a flexible, remote work environment.
