Asmae is a French, non-religious, non political organization, created in 1980 by Sister Emmanuelle. Our main mission is the development of underprivileged children.  Asmae helps them to choose and to build their own way towards autonomy, in their own environment.
We support educational, sanitary and psychosocial activities for underprivileged children from Burkina-Faso, Egypt, India, Lebanon, Madagascar, Mali, Philippines and France. Our philosophy is to work closely and in partnership with local organizations. Asmae always considers the economical, cultural, social and familial contexts in its programs, trying to find sustainable solutions to the problems.
Asmae is active in Lebanon since 1987.

Vulnerable youth often have limited access and awareness of safe and decent employment opportunities which can further hinder their ability to set long-term goals and meet their psychosocial and economic needs. To better support young people to identify and access these opportunities, Asmae and NRDC aim to provide additional guidance and support by conducting a gender-sensitive and disability-inclusive labor market assessment (LMA) as part of the project implemented by Asmae in partnership with NRDC.

Since the capacity development of the local partners is an essential component of our work, in order to foster the localization concept, ensure sustainability, and empower the local community to achieve quality implementation goals, Asmae aims to develop the capacity of its partners through different training, consultancies, coaching and other types of support.
The reporting management system training is one of the training series that Asmae will provide to its partners as per their needs, taking into consideration the importance of reporting in the humanitarian sector.
