About Basmeh and Zeitooneh:

Basmeh & Zeitooneh is a registered Lebanese organization, committed to serving refugees and vulnerable communities in Lebanon, through four community centers across the country. The organization runs educational, relief, livelihoods, and protection programs, and aims to serve as an inclusive and supportive focal point for the entire community.

About the Civil Society Enablement unit:

The CSEU at Basmeh & Zeitooneh, started in 2018 with the aim to develop the capacities of local community-based organizations, civil society organizations and initiatives to enhance their skills and provide them with the necessary support that addresses community issues and focuses on enhancing awareness, and empowering individuals and groups in civil society.

About the project:

Through the Civil Society Localization project, an organizational capacity training will be provided to the targeted CBOs/NGOs  to enhance their ability to operate and implement projects that address their target areas’ needs and strengthen their capacities to play their role in defending rights and freedoms and advocating for change.

The project will pursue the actualization of the below three main objectives:

• Capacity and networking of local organizations are strengthened to effectively implement quality child protection and education projects in Syria and response to the needs of their community
• Local partners have been empowered to implement community-led projects efficiently and accountability
• Enhanced networking and information exchange among the selected local partners and other actors in the communities.

To reach this aim, The civil society enablement unit at Basmeh & Zeitooneh is calling for trainers to join the Civil Society Localization project to develop and empower civil society actors by providing professional online training and coaching through an in-depth analysis of the needs of civil society organizations and the continuous follow-up of these organizations during the training period, to enhance their ability to develop, operate and implement projects that address their target areas’ needs and strengthen their capacities and play an active role in their communities.

Training topics:

1.Financial Management.

2.Fundraising and Proposal Writing.

Each topic consists of 3-4 training days. The trainers will work together with the Basmeh & Zeitooneh team in: 

• The preparation of the training Materials (Curricula, presentation, a Pre-Post test form to evaluate the participants level of knowledge, and any relevant document) ...
• Run and facilitate the training sessions
• Run and Facilitate peer-to-peer coaching sessions as per participants' needs
• Prepare a report setting out the main lessons shared during the sessions.
• Prepare a report on the participants' interaction and the problems they raised through the training sessions. The report will conclude by highlighting topics that need additional training in the future.

Experience: 

• 3-5 years of experience, whether in private, public, or in civil society organizations.
• Previous experience in the development sectors (such as in livelihood, protection, education, etc.) is a plus, especially in start-up and small community-based organizations.
• Proven experience as a trainer, and previous experience in business training is a plus
• Working experience in a multicultural context

Skills:

• Proficiency in Arabic language (oral/written) mandatory
• Ability to communicate in English
• Good ability to work in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
• Adapted to multinational teams
• Ability to multitask

Trainers are expected to be available as of August 2022 and September 2022. Please note that these are projected dates for scheduling purposes subject to further clarification on the specific dates of each training.

حول وحدة تمكين المجتمع المدني:

بدأت وحدة تمكين المجتمع المدني في منظمة بسمة وزيتونة في عام 2018 بهدف تطوير قدرات المنظمات المجتمعية المحلية ومنظمات المجتمع المدني والمبادرات لتعزيز مهاراتهم وتزويدهم بالدعم اللازم الذي يعالج قضايا المجتمع ويركز على تعزيز الوعي، وتمكين الأفراد والجماعات في المجتمع المدني.

حول المشروع:

من خلال مشروع تمكين المجتمع المدني، سيتم توفير تدريب على القدرات التنظيمية لمنظمات المجتمع المدني/ المنظمات غير الحكومية المستهدفة لتعزيز قدرتها على تشغيل وتنفيذ المشاريع التي تلبي احتياجات المناطق المستهدفة وتقوية قدراتها على لعب دورها بفاعلية في الدفاع عن الحقوق والحريات والدعوة للتغيير.

سيعمل المشروع من خلال أنشطته على تحقيق الأهداف الثلاثة التالية:

• تعزيز قدرات المنظمات المحلية من أجل التنفيذ الفعال لمشاريع حماية الأطفال والتعليم بجودة عالية في سوريا، والاستجابة لاحتياجات مجتمعهم
• تمكين الشركاء المحليين لتنفيذ المشاريع التي يقودها المجتمع بكفاءة ومساءلة
• تعزيز التواصل وتبادل المعلومات بين الشركاء المحليين المختارين والجهات الفاعلة الأخرى في المجتمعات.

للوصول إلى هذا الهدف، تدعو وحدة تمكين المجتمع المدني مدربين/ات للانضمام إلى مشروع تمكين المجتمع المدني لتطوير وتمكين الجهات الفاعلة في المجتمع المدني من خلال توفير التدريب المهني أونلاين والتوجيه من خلال تحليل متعمق لاحتياجات منظمات المجتمع المدني والمتابعة المستمرة لهذه المنظمات خلال فترة التدريب، وتعزيز قدرتهم على تطوير وتشغيل وتنفيذ المشاريع التي تلبي احتياجات المناطق المستهدفة، لتقوية قدرات المنظمات ولعب دور فعال في مجتمعاتهم.

موضوعات التدريبات المطلوبة:

• الإدارة المالية.
• جمع التبرعات وكتابة المقترحات (دورة حياة المشروع).

كل موضوع يتكون من 3-4 أيام تدريب. سيعمل المدربون/ات مع فريق بسمة وزيتونة في:

• إعداد المواد التدريبية (المناهج ، والعرض التقديمي ، ونموذج الاختبار قبل اللاحق لتقييم مستوى المعرفة لدى المشاركين/ات، وأي وثيقة ذات صلة) 
• تطبيق وتيسير الجلسات التدريبية
• إدارة وتيسير جلسات التدريب مباشرة (اوفلاين) حسب احتياجات المشاركين/ات
• إعداد تقرير يحدد الدروس الرئيسية المشتركة أثناء الجلسات
• إعداد تقرير عن تفاعل المشاركين/ات والمشكلات التي أثاروها خلال الدورات التدريبية
• ويختتم التقرير بإلقاء الضوء على الموضوعات التي تحتاج إلى تدريب إضافي في المستقبل

الخبرات المطلوبة:

• 3-5 سنوات خبرة، سواء في المنظمات الخاصة أو العامة أو في منظمات المجتمع المدني.
• الخبرة السابقة في قطاعات التنمية (مثل سبل العيش، والحماية، والتعليم، الخ) تعتبر ميزة إضافية، لا سيما في المنظمات المجتمعية الناشئة والصغيرة.
• خبرة مثبتة كمدرب/ة ، والخبرة السابقة في التدريب على ادارة المشاريع (دورة حياة المشروع) ميزة إضافية
• خبرة العمل في سياق متعدد الثقافات.

المهارات المطلوبة:

• إجادة اللغة العربية (محادثة / كتابية) إلزامية 
• القدرة على التواصل باللغة الإنجليزية 
• قدرة جيدة على استخدام Microsoft Word و Excel و Access و PowerPoint 
• التكيف مع فرق متعددة الجنسيات 
• القدرة على القيام بمهام متعددة 

من المتوقع أن يكون المدربون/ات متاحين/ات اعتبارًا من آب 2022 وأيلول 2022. يرجى ملاحظة أن هذه التواريخ المتوقعة بناء الجدول الزمني للمشروع وسيتم توفير مزيد من الإيضاحات حول التواريخ المحددة لكل تدريب.
