This virtual event aims to bring together Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) operating in Lebanon to:

1- Share what are different NGOs doing in response to the COVID-19 pandemic in Lebanon

2- Map what are different NGOs able to offer to the community* during the COVID-19 pandemic through resource mobilization

3- Draft a potential collaborative response plan to the COVID-19 situation through the contribution of different participating NGOs

* Community refers to both Lebanese citizens and refugees of different nationalities.

This post is part of a World Bank funded research project “Answering the Big Questions on Forced Migration and Health”, carried out in collaboration with Columbia University, Brandeis University and Universidad de los Andes. The research consortium seeks to investigate the trends in health needs of forcibly displaced populations and host communities in various contexts in order to identify the best practices and develop evidence-based mechanisms for planning and delivering health services for displaced populations. The GHI research team will be leading the research arm on Jordan.
