Mental Health and Psycho Social Support Facilitator to GBV Survivors

The René Moawad Foundation (RMF) is seeking to recruit a “Mental Health and Psycho Social Support Facilitator to GBV Survivors” for “Upscaling Shelter, Food Security, Protection, and GBV services to extremely vulnerable individuals in North-Lebanon and Akkar” Project supported by OCHA Lebanon through Lebanon Humanitarian Fund (LHF).

Major Responsibilities: 

• Provide specialized mental health and psycho-social support to GBV survivors;
• Implement psycho-social support programs tailored to the needs of GBV survivors; and,
• Build capacity within the community to better support GBV survivors;

Professional Standards:

All RMF staff are required to adhere to the RMF policies and practices with respect to child protection minimum standards, code of conduct, health and safety, equal opportunities and other relevant policies and procedures.

Job Requirements:

• Extensive experience in providing mental health and psycho-social support, particularly to GBV survivors;
• Expertise in trauma-informed care and crisis intervention;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; and
• Experience in facilitating training programs.

Period of Employment: 

99 sessions ranging between 1 September 2024 – 31 July 2025

Experience Requirements: At least 2 years of relevant experience.

Education Degree: Bachelor Degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or any related field.
