Brief description of the project: 
The livelihood project aims at capacitating the vulnerable population through community-based activities and vocational training. As part of the projects’ activities, the animator will work closely with the social worker to ensure first and foremost the safety of the participants, their access to a safe space as well proper implementation of engaging activities.
TASK1: Planning and implementation responsibilities
● Ensure a safe space for participants to access, express and interact through the provided activities;
● Design the activities for participants based on their needs, interests or disability if any; and problems while following the existing and convenient curricula;
● Coordinate with the Social Worker and other team members to implement the activities at the center or in surrounding areas;
● Ensure the activities are interactive, engaging and entertaining for building their physical and intellectual skills;
● Ensure equal gender representation of males and females in the implemented activities;
● Ensure cultural sensitivity while adopting and implementing any activity;
● Adopt a child friendly approach;
● Respect the code of conduct, CP policy, CP behavioral policy and the PSEA policy.
TASK2: Monitoring, Reporting and Referral

● Ensure the development of the action plan for the activities during the cycle, in coordination with the Social Worker, Field Coordinator and other team members;
● Fill the monitoring and evaluation tools including assessment forms, attendance sheets and evaluation forms for activity attendees;
● Collaborate closely with social worker and M&E focal point;
● Identify cases at risk through observing signs, symptoms or behaviors and refer them to the Social Worker;
● Contribute to the writing of the narrative report on a monthly basis.
Other Tasks:
● Respect and Abide to the organization internal code of conduct, CP policy, CP behavioral policy and the PSEA policy;
● Represent Amel Association, when requested and is necessary;
● Attend and participate in local and capacity building events as needed/Actively participate in training throughout the year;
● Be available to attend and participate in internal and external meetings;
● Meetings with other program staff is required and will be on a timely basis;
● Maintain positive relations with other team members;
● Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements, Qualifications, and skills:
● University degree in social work, psychology, education or any other related field. 
● A minimum of 1-2 years of working with childrenand youth, preferably in the Social Work field;
● Good knowledge on the local context where the activities are being implemented;
● Good knowledge in the Child Protection core principles;
● Demonstrating professional facilitation skills and experience;
● Strong communication skills and ability to work in collaboration with multiple stakeholders and staff members;
● Very Good in English and Arabic (oral and written);
● Experience in data gathering and analyses (Microsoft Office);
● Sharing of key humanitarian values with cross-cultural sensitivity.
