Regional Field Coordinator- Beirut area

Description: 

The Regional Field Coordinator role includes working closely with the Program Manager to prepare comprehensive regional action plans, including resources, time frames, budgets, and reports for the project. The Regional Field Coordinator will perform various coordinating tasks, that include scheduling, administrative duties, public relations, advocacy, maintaining project documentation, and handling financial queries related to the project on the regional level.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Schedule requested meetings, support agenda creation and distribute agendas, and document and publish minutes.
  • Support project financials, on the regional level in direct coordination with the program manager and the finance manager.
  • Maintain regional project plans by capturing task updates such as progress and completion dates, updating resources, updating work segment plans, or performing other directed updates.
  • Maintain regional project calendars and update weekly status reports.
  • Maintain regional project repository and follow-up on overdue deliverables and approvals.
  • Regional Field Coordinators work alongside the Program Manager to arrange the logistics of the project. Such as work with team members to create a project timeline, set goals, and determine what elements are needed to complete the project in each of the regions.
  • Facilitate regional meetings and distribute minutes to all project team members.
  • Provide administrative support as needed.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive regional project documentation under the supervision of the Program Manager.
  • Prepare the regional spending financial reports for the Program Manager and the finance manager.
  • Ensure the management of the linkages with LUPD other projects and needed referrals (GBV response, disability monitor…) in line with the need of the project under the supervision of the Program Manager.
  • Perform any other duty as directed by the program manager.

  • Verbal and written communication for understanding project requirements and explaining these needs to employees and third-party providers.
  • Attention to detail to ensure all specifications are met.
  • Problem-solving abilities to correct any challenges or inefficiencies for the best results.
  • Decisiveness and good judgment to address pressing project matters when time is limited.
  • Organization and time management to manage multiple tasks, sometimes at once.
  • Leadership and motivation to guide team members in making consistent progress.
  • Goal-setting to set realistic deadlines and strategize daily, weekly, and monthly progress.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
