We are seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable psychotherapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing therapy and counseling services and group activities to pregnant women, facilitating mental and emotional health, and promoting well-being. This role includes leading specialized training sessions, such as exercise and wellness activities designed to support physical and mental health during pregnancy.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on client assessments and needs.
- Lead group activities and training sessions focused on mindfulness and maternal mental health.
- Educate clients about the importance of mental health during pregnancy and the postpartum period.
- Provide support and advice for women experiencing emotional difficulties or mental health problems during pregnancy and postpartum.
- Reduce stigma around maternal mental health care, emphasizing its necessity.
- Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions and client progress.
- Participate in continuing education to stay updated on the latest practices in psychotherapy and maternal mental health.
Reports to: [SRHR Field Coordinator]
The payment : 20 USD Per Session.
Requirements, Qualifications, and skills
Master’s in clinical psychology with a minimum of 3 years of professional practice in a similar environment. Having a work permit from the Ministry of Public Health.
Demonstrating professional facilitation skills and experience.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in collaboration with different members.
Fluent in English and Arabic (oral and written).
Sharing of key humanitarian values with cross-cultural sensitivity.
Experience in data gathering and analyses (Microsoft Office).
