Première Urgence - Aide Médicale Internationale (PU-AMI) is a non-profit, non-political and non religious Humanitarian NGO. Its objective is to bring about a global response to the basic needs of populations suffering from acute humanitarian crisis and to allow them to recover their autonomy and dignity. In August 2021, USAID/Lebanon awarded EnCompass LLC the five-year Monitoring and Evaluation Program for Lebanon (MEPL) Activity. The purpose of this contract is to supplement the monitoring and program-management efforts of USAID/Lebanon’s staff and to verify, monitor, and support USAID’s program performance in the country. The Social Worker will be working in the LRC Medico-Social Centers. He/ she works with people to support them through difficult times and to ensure that children and adults affected by crisis and challenges have access to health care and services. The Social Worker conducts assessments, and develops interventions to solve social and personal problems to create social change , provides awareness sessions and individual supports, runs regular support groups, and engages volunteers in community centered activities with the aim of improving the beneficiaries’ health and wellbeing.
