Main Tasks
- Assist Child Protection Technical Programme implementation in the communities
- Build positive and constructive relationships with children and community members.
- Communicate effectively Sponsorship key message to children & families.
- Ensure community understanding of sponsorship and respond to questions and concerns promptly and sensitively.
- Support Development facilitator in managing the ongoing registration of children based on Child selection criteria.
- Assist Development facilitator in ensuring that all registered children participate and benefit from the programme operations together with other children.
- Monitor and Report the Presence and participation of Children including the RCs once every 90 days.
- Fulfill Sponsorship 2.0 features and activity including Correspondence development - as part of the integrated plan
- Follow up on children with child well-being or child protection issues by timely reporting to DF.
- Manage and follow up on child well-being cases as guided by DF.
- Ensure accurate data entry via horizon mobile, quality and timeliness of data, correspondence and sponsorship business process.
- Ensure maintenance of horizon mobiles in working conditions
- Conduct regular visits to children as needed, to fulfill ongoing sponsorship communication requirements (letters, photos)
- Report any child protection or safeguarding issue that violates the rights of the child or adult beneficiaries.
- Report RC Migrations and death regularly within standard
- Actively support Development facilitator in implementing programme relevant to the assigned registered children number.
- Report CP incidents as per the safeguarding policy guidelines.
- Support the local child-care and protection for improved wellbeing of the children and empower CWB Committees.
- Attend trainings locally.
- Abide WV Lebanon Safeguarding policy and behavior protocols and report any incidents or breaches to line manager and / or security manager.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Line Manager.
Minimum Requirements
- Strong facilitation skills
- Strong communication skills and cross cultural sensitivity
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability and commitment to listen to others
- Very good command of Arabic and English.
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office package.
Preferred Skills
- Experienced in building and maintaining relationships and networks with individuals, communities and development partners
- Knowledge of children rights
