Call for tender : Oxygen generator for RHUH

The system should be working on continuous operation ensuring oxygen delivery 24 hours per day as within following requirement and specifications:

1)            ISO 10083:2006 standard

2)            European Pharmacopeia 7.1.

3)            Comply with Lebanese Industrial Research Institute (IRI) requirements as follows:

a)            The system should be manufactured according to Medical Device/ Quality Management System (CE).

b)            The system should have a Stable High purity medical PSA oxygen generator at 93%  ±3%

c)            The flow rate should exceed 2.000 SCFH (standard cubic feet per hr) or 56 m3/h of gas oxygen, required air at 90 PSI 9.240 L/min

d)            Outlet pressure 4.5-5 bar

e)            Touch screen displaying O2 purity, pressure, parameters and alarm history.

f)             The system should be controlled by electro- pneumatic valves.

g)            Two vessels with molecular sieve are included.    

h)            Automatic control through PLC (programmable logic controller)

i)             Calibration free Ultrasonic Oxygen Analyzer with no drift connected to the PLC with automatic shut off of the oxygen production in case of oxygen concentration drop or pressure and automatic switch to the oxygen liquid tanks.

j)             Integrated internet modem for online monitoring and email alert messaging to unlimited number of persons.

k)            Vertical galvanized oxygen surge tank capacity approx. 2.500 liters.

l)             Two lubricated screw Air Compressors, one on duty and the second on standby.

m)          The Two Lubricated screw air compressors are within following specs: Gear Driven 125 HP, 90 KW, 8 bar and 16.080 L/min each.

n)            Two Air Dryers, one on duty and one on standby. Capacity of each: approx 25.000 L/min or approx. 1.500 m3/h at input temp 40 Celsius degree equipped with oil separator, anti-dust 1u filter and anti- bacterial Pyrogen 0.01 u filters.  

o)            Vertical Air Tank Galvanized capacity 3.000 liters.

 

4)            Filters and accessories:

a)            Cyclonic separator

b)            Filter element water separator

c)            Filter element C Oil separator

d)            Filter element V Active carbon

e)            Two electronic water drainer

f)             x Two Back up electrical solenoid valve

g)            PLC Controller Panel

 

5)            Additional terms and conditions for bidder:

a)            Submit a letter of recommendation from at least five hospitals in Lebanon for good performance and maintenance of a similar oxygen generator.

b)            Visit the allocated rooms for the installation of the system and make sure to include in his bid the cost of the necessary requirements such as copper pipes, power cables and ventilation of the room so that the rooms temperature does never exceed 37 Celsius.

c)            Submit a maintenance contract valid three years after the one year warranty including labor, spare parts and filters.

d)            UPS for controller.

e)            RHUH is a British standard hospital.

How to apply

Tender should be submitted by hand in closed sealed envelope in tender box at URDA Offices, Khalde, international Road Behind Al Ramal Supermarket - Al Anwar Building - Ground Floor.

  • To be eligible for consideration of this tender, a tenderer should meet the following requirements:
  • Company Registered and has a financial number and VAT number ( Company offical document )
  • Has a working experience in the requested items.
  • Clear quotation stamped and signed by the company name.
  • Has a bank account by the company name (same as company name used to apply to tender) and can receive external bank transfer.
  • Delivery cost must be mentioned on the quotation or included with price  
  • Not quotation will be accepted through email, please submit them to the office (address above, sealed and stamped).
