Graphic Designer Consultant

MAAN has been implementing a project that work on civic and political education of active
youth since 2018. This project aims to enhance the effort of the youth right holders in their
local communities and at the national level through implementing the workshops, seminars,
initiatives, and youth exchanges.
Objective
MAAN is seeking a dedicated Graphic Designer to join its team. He/She will work closely with
the project manager and the advocacy campaign consultant to ensure that information
graphics, iconography, and customized illustrations are produced on schedule and in high
quality.
Required Tasks
 Capability to transform researched material into aesthetically interesting, heavily
detailed, and intellectually engaging images and info graphics.
 Create unique information graphics with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Design
layouts within Design and Illustrator.
 Proven track record of delivering graphic deliverables on time.
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
 Ability to work closely with team members on a daily basis in order to track the project,
clarifies needs, and ensures deadlines are reached.
 Ability to work beyond the standard timetables in order to meet deadlines.
Key Requirements:
 Creative graphic design skills is required.
 Animation skills is a strong asset.
 Performing graphic research.
 Efficient and Professional coordination with team members.

 High capacity of meeting deadlines and having a good visual design abilities and
verifiable expertise.
 Critical orientation to time and multi-tasking.
Education and Qualifications:
 Bachelor's Degree in bachelor’s degree in graphic arts, design, communications, or related
field.
 Demonstrate experience in a similar position (not necessary in this industry) with a similar
output (info graphics) or a portfolio demonstrating an eye for detail. This position will not
be considered for those who do not have a portfolio.
 Knowledge of design for Social Media posts.
 (Web) Programming for info graphics development.
 Track record of published output and client facing experience.
 Minimum of 2 - 3 years' relevant experience as a graphic designer
 Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal skills
 Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
 Fluency in Arabic and English (Oral and written)
 Proven ability to deliver on time.
