Responsibilities: 

 

Collaborate with the team members to understand project requirements. 

Uphold the ethical and safety standards of the project.

Contribute to developing research methodology.

Conduct a desk review on topics agreed on and discussed within the team. 

Conduct qualitative and quantitative data collection in accordance with the research needs.

Maintain a secure and organized archive of collected research data. 

Report on the progress of research regularly based on the agreed timeline.

Write up detailed research and policy briefs providing preliminary insights based on the primary and secondary data. 

Participate in the dissemination of the research findings in agreed on events, relevant seminars, or/and stakeholders’ meetings. 

Respect confidentiality of the research and the findings and protect the intellectual property of the organization.

 

Job Requirements

Education degree in Law, Economics, Sociology or other relevant field

Master’s degree is preferable

At least 3-5 years working experience in economic and socioeconomic research and policies

Fluent in English & Arabic (writing and speaking).

Proven knowledge in both national and regional issues 

Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills.

Excellent presentation, report writing and communication skills. 

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a team and individually.
