Oxfam Lebanon Programme

Oxfam is a global movement of people, working together to end the injustice of poverty. Oxfam has been working in Lebanon since 1993. We provide humanitarian assistance to vulnerable people affected by conflict, and we promote economic justice and good governance, and women’s rights. Oxfam also works with local partners to contribute to the protection and empowerment of marginalized women and men.

Project Objective:

Oxfam is seeking a supplier to provide plastic solid waste bins of capacity 15L, 120L, 240 L and, metallic bins of capacity 660L, and to transport them to different locations in Lebanon. The location of intervention is Beirut, Zahle and Nabatieh. The specific locations will be based on the needs and will be shared with winner suppliers.

Content of Works:

• Quantity will be based on the needs. The supplier is expected to provide unit cost of one solid waste bin including transportation and handling.
• The Contractor’s relationship will directly be with OXFAM staff .
• The period of delivery is one week from the date signing the PO.
• The supplier will be responsible on the delivery process to Oxfam’s area of intervention.
• The supplier will abide the provision based on the requested specification.
• Oxfam has the right to increase or decrease quantities at the same unit cost
• Oxfam has the right to select different suppliers for the same items and the quantity might be split between them.
• The quantity of items requested will differ based on the needs which will be defined later for emergency response. 

NB: This purchase is made for emergency situations.

• Frost resistant and Resistant to chemicals
• High resistance to UV radiation
• Solid rubber and solid steel axel

Wheel/Axe: Solid rubber wheel and solid steel axel, and Corrosion protection by electro-galvanizing and chromatic

The prices must be presented according to the following titles:

1. All tenderers must be qualified technically and financially to be able to submit their offers.
2. The unit prices and rates must be presented in Fresh US dollars for each of the offer items

Coordination and Supervision: The activity will be supervised by Oxfam’s team. Oxfam may assign additional staff during the implementation of activity.

• Financial proposal
• Data sheets / specs.
• Legal documents (company registration,VAT, MoF, bank certificate..)

Date of start: One week after signing the agreement.
