The Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation promotes women’s rights in over 20 conflict-affected countries in the Middle East, Africa, Europe and the South Caucasus. We do so by supporting more than 110 local partner organizations across the world. We focus on Women Peace and Security, economic empowerment, equal participation and gender-based violence. Kvinna till Kvinna’s long-term vision is a world of sustainable peace based on democracy and gender equality, where conflicts are solved without violence, in which women have influence over decision-making and participate fully and effectively in society’s development.

We support local organizations who work for women’s rights in countries across the Middle East and North Africa. Our work in the region is conducted from our offices in Amman, Beirut, Erbil, Jerusalem and Tunis.

Kvinna till Kvinna is now looking to recruit an Administration Officer for the period of April- September 2019.This is a part-time position (9am to 1pm) and placed in the Beirut Office.

Job Description

  • Ensure  solid  procurement  procedures  and  routines  in  compliance  with  to  KTK administrative handbook, procurement policy, anti-corruption guidelines and back donors’ requirements.
  • Lead and undertake the procurement of works, goods and services for the country office.
  • Manage maintenance and support of IT functions and office management and ensure proper functioning of the information and Communication Technology.
  • Ensure proper assets management and maintenance of the office premises, computers, accessories, furniture and equipment.
  • Ensure proper functioning of an archiving and documentation system.
  • Take responsibility of the office’s meetings and logistical matters.
  • Arrange accommodation, housing, travel, transportation management and work permits for visitors and international staff
  • Manage and monitor staff benefits, ensure signing attendance sheets, administrating overtime, vacation plans, travel reports, leave, and maintain updated staff personal records
  • Prepare cash reports and work closely with the finance officer
  • Performs administrative tasks (photocopies, buying stationeries, scanning/faxing documents)

 

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of accounting, book keeping, and financial analytical skills.
  • Minimum of 1years of experience in an international, and multicultural non-government organisation.
  • High integrity to be able to handle cash and cash related transactions, and to take anti-corruption measurements.
  • Good planning and problem solving skills.
  • Open and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work in an international environment, good team and listening skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Good knowledge of English and Arabic .
  • Good writing and communication skills.
