The Samir Kassir Foundation is a Lebanese non-profit, non-governmental organization, founded on February 1, 2006. It is named after Samir Kassir, a prominent Lebanese journalist and historian assassinated in Beirut on June 2, 2005. Its main focus is the promotion and protection of freedom of expression, freedom of media and freedom of culture through the SKeyes Center for Media and Cultural Freedom, which has become the largest center to monitor violations against journalists and artists in the Arab Levant as well as a reference for research on journalism and for training media professionals and enhancing their skills.

The Samir Kassir Foundation (SKF) invites independent digital media outlets in Lebanon to submit proposals for creating and promoting media content, utilizing social media platforms where applicable, that addresses the different aspects of the Syrian refugee crisis in Lebanon, particularly at the management and policy level, and the implications of the absence of an adequate level of both, on the lives of Syrian refugees in Lebanon.

The Samir Kassir Foundation (SKF) has designed and produced a card game titled “Say It", alongside game developers Everythink, The game exposes an almost exhaustive range of Lebanese stereotypes, allowing players to fill in the blanks in a series of incomplete scenarios, aiming to achieve the least offensive outcome in order to win.
For this purpose, SKF intends to roll out a marketing campaign to promote the new card game and create public demand for and awareness about it.
