HF operates in partnership with stakeholders to promote citizen engagement, social cohesion, and community resilience.
Overview
The Hariri Foundation for Sustainable Human Development is currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated MEAL and Compliance Expert to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a comprehensive Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) system on a multiple project basis, identifying vulnerability criteria within project contexts, and linking project outcomes to relevant Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Additionally, the MEAL and Compliance Expert will play a crucial role in ensuring adherence to all relevant compliance standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Vulnerability Criteria Identification
Conduct a vulnerability assessment within project areas.
Identify key vulnerability criteria relevant to the organization's projects.
Integrate vulnerability criteria into the MEAL system for targeted analysis.
Linkage to SDGs
Review current and potential project outcomes.
Identify SDGs aligned with the organization's mission and projects.
Develop a framework to measure and report on the organization's contribution to selected SDGs.
Compliance Operations
Manage the systems developed
Perform recurrent evaluations and submit reports
Deliverables
Provide a detailed report with list of expected deliverables, including:
MEAL system documentation
Vulnerability criteria report
SDG linkage framework
International mechanisms used
Training materials and sessions
Qualifications
Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Monitoring and Evaluation, Compliance, Development Studies).
Minimum of 7 years of experience in MEAL and compliance roles within the development sector.
Strong understanding of vulnerability criteria, social impact assessment, and Sustainable Development Goals.
Familiarity with compliance standards and regulations in the development sector.
Proficiency in using MEAL software and tools.
Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team and cross-functional environment.
