Expertise France is seeking the services of Fundraising expert to build the capacities of two of its local partners: the Lebanon Reforestation Initiative (LRI) and Lebanese Alternative Learning (LAL).

LRI is an NGO focusing on improving forest landscape, management, and restauration, agroforestry, fire prevention, and raising awareness around these issues, is seeking to (1) review recruitment procedures and job descriptions, (3) improve the onboarding process through the review of its policies, and (4) mutualize the organization’s various positions to increase productivity, workflow, and avoid overlaps between positions and across departments.  

LAL is a local NGO focusing on Education and operating in several regions across Lebanon, is seeking to (1) review recruitment procedures and job descriptions, (2) improve the onboarding process through the review of its policies, (3) create and adopt an appraisal process, and (4) mutualize the organization’s various positions to increase productivity, workflow, and avoid overlaps between positions and across departments. 

The consultant, an expert in Human Resources, especially within the Lebanese humanitarian sector, with proven experience working with LNGOs, will work with both entities on providing the following:

For LRI:

  1. review and assess LRI’s HR system.
  2.  mutualize the organization’s various positions through a review and improvement of the job descriptions and provide group training on soft skills related to teamwork, communication, and coordination.

For LAL:

  1. Review and assess LAL’s HR system.
  2. Support the HR team through improving the existing policies.
  3. Review and improve recruitment procedures.
  4.  Mutualize the organization’s various positions through a review and improvement of the job descriptions.

 

  1. KEY TASKS AND DELIVERABLES

 

 

 

 

  • For LRI:

 

    • Review all jobs description and mutualize the organization’s structure to improve workflow, productivity, and avoid overlaps between positions and across departments. 
    • Provide a two-day training on soft skills and leadership skills, focusing on communication, coordination, task and time management, delegation, and related teamwork skills.
    • Prepare a final consultancy report for LRI’s deliverbales.

 

  • For LAL:

 

    • Review LAL’s recruitment procedures and improve the onboarding process.
    • Create an appraisal process to be adopted by the organization. 
    • Review all jobs description and mutualize the organization’s structure to improve workflow, productivity, and avoid overlaps between positions and across departments. 
    • Prepare a final consultancy report for LAL’s deliverables.

 

 

 

  1. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITES

 

Consultant:

  • Closely coordinate with Expertise France regarding the activities to be implemented.
  • Ensure regular communication with both LRI and Expertise France throughout the coaching process.
  • Ensure regular communication with both LAL and Expertise France throughout the coaching process.
  • Validate with Expertise France the training material prior to the capacity building process.
  • Prepare a final consultancy report.
