Euromed Feminist Initiative EFI is a policy network providing expertise in the field of gender equality and its connection with democracy. EFI seeks to correct the gender power imbalances through ending discrimination and oppression of women and bringing about positive change for the whole society. EFI promotes women’s rights by strengthening women’s self-organizing, voices, actions and power, by supporting and creating safe spaces for exchange across the different socio-political borders and by advocating for gender equality, democracy and citizenship.

In the frame of the project Education for Peacebuilding (Consolidation phase), Euromed Feminist Initiative, is looking for a Gender Expert.
To support an inclusive and Syrian-led political process by contributing to reform the Syrian primary and secondary school curricula and education system based on human rights, civil rights and gender equality as a mean to promote social cohesion and sustainable peace in Syria. Trainer – Conflict and Gender Sensitive monitoring and evaluation

Job

The Trainer will perform the following capacity-building activities:

The Trainer will develop the training materials in coordination with EFI Management and the MEAL Consultant to make sure M&E guidelines and rules are adhered to.
The Trainer shall provide four training workshops (one training per country) for the consortium members, CSOs and CBOs receiving funds. Each training will be for three days targeting 15 participants each.
The Trainer will assess the gained knowledge for the participants through administrating of pre- and post-test.
