Strengthening specialized journalism in Lebanon

The project’s goal:

Develop a series of modules on constructive journalism and on science journalism till 2023, March 31st. 

Responsibilities, tasks, and deliverables  

         A. Profile of prospective partner

  • Meets with DWA on values and goals.
  • Considers a variety of learning needs and preferences.
  • Respects the diversity of participants and their rights.
  • Able to lead extensive communication with educator groups to facilitate interpretation and implementation of curriculum guidelines, and to evaluate the effectiveness of programs.
  • Experience in developing learning and teaching material.
  • Able to provide qualitative and quantitative narrative reports on the implemented activities and specific period of the project.
  • Able to provide accurate financial reports respecting deadline and aligned with TOR.
  • Able to adopt/use new digitalization/technology for project management.

 

       B. Tasks and deliverables 

  • Works and collaborates with DWA on modules/curricula design and implementation.
  • Provides experts on environment and climate change in Lebanon and the regions.
  • Allows use of premises and facilities.
  • Connects with human resources when needed: students, faculty members, experts in both fields, tech support.
  • The detailed process/timeline would be discussed with each organization during both preparation and implementation phases.
  • Able to provide accurate financial reports respecting deadline and aligned with TOR.

· A letter of interest in the partnership introducing mutual strategic interest, with a description of the scope of work and previous experiences which make you suitable for this partnership as well as other aspects you deem relevant for the successful conduct of this review.

  • A detailed budget proposal -competitive budgets will be considered.
