Our Mission

SEF (Service de l’Enfant au Foyer) is a Lebanese non-profit organization that provides quality comprehensive services for children and their mothers suffering from domestic violence regardless of their social, religious or political affiliation.
SEF shelters, supports and empowers children and their mothers, over a period of time, by creating a supporting environment for growth and advocating for their rights while working towards their safe and sustainable reintegration in society.

The lawyer must be able to work individually and remotely as well as be able to coordinate and work closely within an effective and motivated team. The lawyer will be based in Beirut, Lebanon. The lawyer will be responsible for a range of legal and administrative duties, including providing direct legal aid services to participants to every extent possible, working with participants' associations, and building the capacity of lawyers.

Strengthening Protection and Empowerment of Women and Girls through access to comprehensive community-based Gender Based Violence Prevention and Response and Reproductive Health Services in Lebanon

The trainer will be tasked to give trainings to social workers and SGBV front linters. The trainings will be on identification and referrals, disclosure and provision of basic psycho-social support to survivors of Gender and Sexual Orientation Based Violence.

The trainer will be tasked to give out one training of trainers to individuals with specific skill sets, who work in the humanitarian field. The training will be around Gender and Sexual Orientation Based Violence, alternative SOGIEs, and issues surrounding sexuality and violence.

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
The MEAL Officer will be a crucial member of the Women Now for Development team in Lebanon, responsible for all Monitoring and Evaluation, Accountability and Learning for our programmes in Protection, Empowerment and Participation. As we operate at a smaller scale than INGOs, this role provides an opportunity for real creative control – you will be able to help shape and drive our approach to MEAL, designing tools and needs assessments; you will be working in the field, and you will be involved in projects from the design phase.
