The Occupational therapy services will be integrated across various health sector activities to support CwDs, PwDs and Elders.
Duties & Responsibilities:
A qualified occupational therapist (OT) will be hired to provide services aimed at improving:
• Motor skills: Gross and fine motor skills for daily activities.
• Sensory abilities: Processing and responding to sensory information from the environment.
• Functional independence: The ability to perform daily living tasks (dressing, bathing, eating).
• Overall well-being: Participation in meaningful activities and promoting healthy habits.
Target Beneficiaries: The specific beneficiaries will be identified based on the needs of each health sector activity.
This may include:
• Children with disabilities experiencing developmental delays or challenges.
• Adults with disabilities seeking to improve functional skills or manage chronic conditions.
• Older adults facing limitations due to aging or age-related conditions.
