MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

  • Assist in the distribution of essential supplies (CRIs, Food and protection items) to designated collective shelters.
  • Ensure accurate tracking of inventory and supplies distributed to Internal Displaced Persons.
  • Assist in identifying and prioritizing high-need areas or populations.
  • Respond to queries and concerns from beneficiaries, ensuring clear communication and transparency.
  • Maintain daily reports on distribution activities, challenges encountered, and feedback from the field.
  • Conduct assessments in area of intervention.
  • Provide social support to vulnerable children and their families
  • Conduct community outreach, sites and home visits.
  • Distribute items for Internal displaced Persons in area of intervention.
  • Conduct phone verifications of beneficiaries.
  • Report directly to the Surge Project Manager.
  • Identify new Internal Displaced Persons within the community to be assessed and included in the emergency response.
  • Collect information about visited vulnerable families through interviews, observation, and assessment carried out via outreach home or sites visits.
  • Complete intake assessments, evaluations, reviews, and other documentation as necessary.
  • Raise awareness on the services available in Beirut, Mount Lebanon and North.
  • Shared cases in need for services with the social workers for referrals.
  • Data Entry.
  • Develop and implement and monitor age-appropriate psychosocial support activities.
  • Any other related tasks defined by the line manager.

 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Education: Completion of secondary school education. An additional first University degree in Social Work would be a plus.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 year of experience in General protection or Emergency response.
  • Languages: Intermediate level in both oral and written communication in English.
