About the Position:

1MORECUP is looking for an enthusiastic Communications Volunteer to support our "UNiTE-Diversity: Let's Dig a Little Deeper to End GBV" project. This volunteer position offers young individuals the chance to gain practical experience in communications while contributing to raising awareness about gender-based violence (GBV) and promoting gender equality in Lebanon.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing social media platforms and creating engaging content with the communication team
  • Support the production of multimedia content, including podcasts and visual materials
  • Help in drafting press releases, blog posts, and other written materials
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of communication campaigns
  • Assist in organizing and promoting events related to the project

 

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field
  • Strong interest in gender issues, human rights, and social justice
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in Arabic and English; French is a plus
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation tools
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design and/or video editing is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work creatively and collaboratively in a team environment

This is an unpaid internship/volunteer position, but it offers valuable experience and networking opportunities in the field of gender equality and social justice - Transportation are covered
