Overview:

The Outreach Team Member will play a vital role in connecting with and providing services to vulnerable populations in Beirut, Mount Lebanon, and South regions. This position involves conducting vulnerability assessments, facilitating psychosocial support (PSS) sessions, raising mental health awareness, and delivering training on healthy aging and informal caregiver support. Team members will work under the guidance of the Social Worker to implement outreach strategies and ensure the effective delivery of services.

Job Description:

  • Conduct vulnerability assessments through home visits to identify the needs and risks of individuals and families.
  • Provide group psychosocial support (PSS) sessions to address emotional, social, and psychological needs.
  • Facilitate mental health awareness sessions to educate communities on mental health issues and reduce stigma.
  • Collaborate with community organizations, agencies, and stakeholders to enhance service delivery and support advocacy efforts.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on program activities, progress, and impact.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • Experience in social work, mental health, community outreach, or related fields.
  • Previous experience in conducting assessments and providing support services is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of vulnerability assessment and psychosocial support principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Empathy, compassion, and a commitment to social justice.
