Context & Background

About Berytech:

Berytech is a leading organization in the Entrepreneurial Eco-system in Lebanon, that aims to provide a conducive environment for the creation and development of startups, through incubation, business support, counseling, funding, networking, and company hosting, hence taking part in the economic revival of the country, participating in wealth and job creation, and retaining graduates and high-level skills in Lebanon.

About FFE:

Femme Francophone Entrepreneure project is created by the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) in the Middle East in partnership with Berytech and l’Orient le Jours with the aim of fostering business development and promoting female entrepreneurship in Lebanon.

FFE supports women entrepreneurs in their business creation projects thanks to capacity building and financial support and a specially adapted environment. The AUF grants a subsidy to the winning projects and Berytech provides the necessary support for business creation. The grant obtained makes it possible to cover incubation costs over six months.

About GAÏO:

A proudly Lebanese product, born in 2020 in the heart of the city of beauty, put on the market in 2021 to bring hope to a broken city.

Founded by a dermo-pharmacist, cosmetologist and beauty expert, this brand encompasses cosmetic products that take care of your face, body and hair.

SCOPE OF WORK AND REQUIREMENTS:

The scope of work is divided into 3 services:

Component 1: Market Study/Research

• Market research plan
• Market Data Collection Review / Analysis
• Market mapping and segmentation
• Analyze findings.
• Research of certifications and labels needed before distribution and export.

Component 2: Marketing and sales strategy

• Develop a marketing strategy for Gaio, strengthening its market positioning.
• Develop a sales strategy
• Recommend appropriate marketing channels and tactics based on the target audience

 Component 3: Legal

• Legal Advisory
• Company Registration
• Legal Advisory on Partnership preparation and agreements 

Scope of Work and Requirements: The consultant should choose one or all of the pre-mentioned options, each one related to their specific field of expertise while adding personal input and complementary suggestions to meet the desired outcome based on the startup’s needs. The consultancy service intervention timeline is from March 1^st till May 15^th.

The experts' deliverables (in the form of a final report) should include the following key aspects for the startup's success:

• Effective positioning of the product in the market.
• Developing a robust marketing strategy.
• Preparing a solid sales plan.
• Ensuring legal registration of the company.
• Acquiring certifications in alignment with the rules and regulations of the pharmaceutical/cosmetic sector.

• Documents related to the company registration.
• Market study and findings.
• Marketing and Sales Plan

Qualifications

• Applications to this proposal can be from independent trainers/consultants, Corporate or Agency.
• The service provider should have at least 5 years of experience in working with startups.
• Knowledge in providing legal advice, and helping organizations navigate legal registration.
• Effective communicator with any audience in an organized and professional manner.
• Use of tools and methods to finalize the consultancy mission with the support of the beneficiary.
• Have previous experience in providing consultancy services to startups.
• The service provider should have experience in Marketing and Sales services.
• Knowledge in healthcare/cosmetics industry.

Budget

The budget should not exceed 2.500 Euros.
