Assignment Context:

The UN Volunteer is responsible to provide a professional-level and top-quality video and photographic coverage of ESCWA events and meetings, ensure the timely production of high-quality video/photo content for promotion, dissemination, distribution and publication, and provide dynamic and powerful multimedia content for in-house and online distribution.

Under the supervision of the Secretary of the Commission, the UN Volunteer is responsible to perform the below functions throughout their assignment:

• Take photos and edit them in line with visual identity of ESCWA
• Take video footages of conferences and events and edit them as required, prepare wrap-up videos, when required
• Develop visual workflows, storyboards, and concepts to create engaging content for social media
• Conceptualize, prepare, and shoot videos
• Film interviews or short video messages with senior officials of ESCWA or experts
• Set up lighting for shoots
• Edit and compost multimedia video projects with Adobe Premiere and After Effects
• Pre-production and storyboard for motion graphics and animations of PR videos and social videos
• Create full videos including design and animation (motion graphics) including custom transitions
• Participate in design and production of multimedia campaigns and content
• Support efforts to archive raw materials post-production
• Provide a set of selected photos with caption, along with all photos taken, as well as a pre-set tag in the meta data
