The Field Officer will work under the supervision of the Project Coordinator.

To ensure success as a field officer, s/he should maintain a trustworthy presence among programs' beneficiaries. Invariably, an excellent field officer will substantiate new concepts with all requisite field data.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate as required in project kick-off, close-out, and review meetings
  • Ensure documentation and follow up of action points in a timely manner
  • Follow-up on the implementation of required activities in a daily manner. This includes directing activities, avoiding mistakes, and receiving and submitting projects reports
  • Communicate and coordinate with the other project team members and follow up the implementation of activities with them
  • Prepare weekly implementation work plans and follow up the implementation with the field team
  • Follow up on the project agreement conditions
  • Prepare project proposals based on the technical and humanitarian needs assessment conducted by the field team
  • Be fully responsible for meeting donor targets and compliance requirements through activities, means of undertaking activities, and in all other documentation

 

EXPERIENCE:

Preferably previous experience working with children, women, and vulnerable populations

At least one year’s experience in similar jobs 

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Minimum education level of a High School Diploma
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong English skills and fluency in Arabic
  • Attention to detail with strong follow up
  • Team-oriented, with the ability to work efficiently independently.
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills for collaborating effectively with others
  • Can multitask, work well under pressure, and work efficiently to meet strict deadlines
