The Field Officer will work under the supervision of the Project Coordinator.
To ensure success as a field officer, s/he should maintain a trustworthy presence among programs' beneficiaries. Invariably, an excellent field officer will substantiate new concepts with all requisite field data.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate as required in project kick-off, close-out, and review meetings
- Ensure documentation and follow up of action points in a timely manner
- Follow-up on the implementation of required activities in a daily manner. This includes directing activities, avoiding mistakes, and receiving and submitting projects reports
- Communicate and coordinate with the other project team members and follow up the implementation of activities with them
- Prepare weekly implementation work plans and follow up the implementation with the field team
- Follow up on the project agreement conditions
- Prepare project proposals based on the technical and humanitarian needs assessment conducted by the field team
- Be fully responsible for meeting donor targets and compliance requirements through activities, means of undertaking activities, and in all other documentation
EXPERIENCE:
Preferably previous experience working with children, women, and vulnerable populations
At least one year’s experience in similar jobs
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Minimum education level of a High School Diploma
- Strong communication skills
- Strong English skills and fluency in Arabic
- Attention to detail with strong follow up
- Team-oriented, with the ability to work efficiently independently.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills for collaborating effectively with others
- Can multitask, work well under pressure, and work efficiently to meet strict deadlines
