2.   Main Tasks:

 

  • Coordinate and collaborate effectively with other members of the FPS PwD team
  • Develop the Disability & Health training curriculum, in-line with WHO disability standards, CRPD, the inclusion concept, and social and rights-based models and in collaboration with technical staff from FPS, MoSA, MoPH
  • Create associated materials for the Training of Trainers (ToTs)
  • Set the selection criteria of targeted groups (SDC staff, PHC staff) for ToTs/trainings and select the participants accordingly
  • Provide Disability & Health ToTs (Beirut and other areas)
  • Provide Disability & Health trainings in the different governorates
  • Administer pre and post-tests, and the participant training evaluations
  • Document all necessary feedback and provide training report to the Health Coordinator
  • Attend the weekly PwD team meeting

 

3.   Deliverables:

 

July 15 - August 15 2019

  • Curriculum development work plan and outline (for ToT and training)
  • Disability & Health training curriculum
  • Disability & Health ToT materials
  • All pre/post tests, evaluations, and other appropriate forms

 

July 15 - End of Project

  • Training and ToT participant selection criteria
  • Pre- and post-test results
  • Participant training evaluations
  • All training reports

 

4.   Qualifications:

 

  • Master’s degree in a disability-related field (disability, health, rehabilitation) is a must
  • Demonstrated training and capacity development skills and experience of at least 7 years
  • At least 10 years experience working in a disability-related field in Lebanon
  • Experience in developing training curricula related to the field of disability
  • Experience in developing and conducting ToTs

 

5.   Key Competencies Required:

 

  • Expert in the field of disability in Lebanon
  • Strong facilitation and organizational skills
  • Highly motivated and team-oriented
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to adapt pitch, style and content of messages for different audiences, and to communicate in an inclusive manner
  • Willing to travel across Lebanon
  • Experience working with MoPH or MoSA a plus

 

6.   Languages and Computer Literacy:

 

  • Fluent in English and Arabic
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel

 

7.   Behaviour:
