The research assistant will mainly provide research and data compilation support to the Common Space Research team on the various ongoing portfolios. The HR & Operations Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the heart of Hivos’ regional MENA Hub and is responsible for supporting the day-to-day HR and admin operations. The incumbent monitors the implementation of relevant administrative and human resource procedures within MENA. He/she/they monitor the quality of the operational processes with the aim of maintaining the highest level of transparency, accountability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Next to that, the HR & Operations Coordinator ensures that operational and administrative processes are applied correctly .

PURPOSE
As a member of the Delegation’s Management team, the Political Adviser 3 updates and advises the Delegation on political developments and changes in the overall environment, conflict, and security dynamics, in order to enable analysis, support decision making and implementation of operational objectives coherently, safely and effectively. S/he identifies, maintains, and broadens high-level relations with a diverse network of key national stakeholders and facilitates the management’s access to a wide network of contacts.
